DeskAlerts is a new, high impact and more effective way to send internal messaging that grabs the reader's attention. As a solution designed specifically to deliver one-way, eye-catching desktop alerts that cannot be skipped, ignored, or saved for "later," DeskAlerts offers many advantages over other popular methods of communication. Instant Messaging (IM) is a two-way system designed for one-on-one chatting. Really Simple Syndication (RSS), email, and the company intranet are passive forms of communication that require the user to look for and read information - when they have set aside some time. DeskAlerts has been specially developed to act as a one-way messaging system to send important messages directly to the user's desktop.

- Completely Web-based product! Makes it possible to access your account and send alerts from any web-enabled device with an internet connection.
- Centralized data storage. All DeskAlerts data is stored in a secure Microsoft SQL database. Data centralization allows you full tracking and reporting capabilities, as well as the ability to easily backup or move data to another server in case of hardware failure.
- Full support for Terminal server/Citrix clients.
- Integration with Active Directory, eDirectory.
- Editors create and manage user groups; design message templates; create, send and track alerts and surveys. Administrator may limit each editor's rights.
- Unified interface for sending alerts to Desktop, SMS and email.
- Extended statistics by dates.
- Message templates. Pre-made message templates allow you to quickly create your alerts.
- Rich text format. Work with colors, fonts, and styling, or use HTML text.

- RSS feeds support. Subscribe users to RSS feeds, both individually and in groups, with administrator-controlled subscriptions.
- Schedule message delivery. Schedule alerts to be sent on an appointed date and time, as well as to automatically expire after the alert message is no longer valid.
