Simplify your meal planning with Home Cookin! Home Cookin combines a recipe database, a grocery manager, and a meal planning calendar into an easy to use meal management system.
Using the same chapter and recipe organization you are used to using with a traditional cookbook, you can store all of your favorite recipes and locate them quickly. Powerful search functions can assist you in locating those hard to find recipes.
Simple text entry and a built in spell checker make it easy to type in recipes yourself, or you can import recipes from a variety of formats. You may also store informational text and include a photo with any recipe you wish.
Preparing a grocery list is as easy as clicking on the items you need and printing. An easy to use search function assists you in quickly finding the items you need, while an estimated total is computed as you prepare your list. The printed list is sorted by store and location to make your shopping trip as quick and painless as possible.
The meal planning calendar is fully integrated with the recipe database. You can plan as far ahead as you want, place as many meals as you wish on each day, and even place the same meal on multiple days if you plan on having leftovers. Personal notes may also be placed on the calendar for holidays, eating out, etc.
